Ballastic Sheild for Sensitive Electronic equipment
MS&M Engineering was contracted to design and build a shield enclosure that was capable of protecting sensitive equipments from external impact.
The shield can also protect surroundings from an explosive blast inside the box.
MS&M engineering used combinations Carbon/Kevlar composites with rigid foams and other materials layers, optimized in a way to mitigate the explosive energy and at the same time weigh only a fraction of equivalent metal shield if one would develop.
